+==== The Truth ====
+**La Shik' Va** was once an ancient pharaoh of the world’s grandest city, **The Oasis**. Based on the notes recovered, on **17th December** in an unknown year, **La Shik' Va** started noticing strange lights streaking across the sky. The staff team believes this to be the very same sightings we witnessed half a year ago, for which we have come to know them as abyss entities. Interestingly, our sightings and theirs occurred on the same date!
+It appears that for them, the abyss entities landed extremely close to **The Oasis** and the world's once grandest city fell into ruins within mere days of their invasion. According to what has been described, these entities are believed to devour other creatures and use their bodies as hosts, inheriting and greatly amplifying the host powers for their own.
+That said, the silver lining mentioned in **La Shik' Va's Notes** were that the entities were afraid of the world items. However, in a moment of carelessness, it appears that one of the entities managed to sneak up on **La Shik' Va** and entered his body in an attempt to devour him. In a moment of desperation, **La Shik' Va** stabbed himself with world item 1 to nullify the devouring process, allowing him to pen down his final notes before sealing himself away deep inside a sewer where he would not easily be found - until we came along.
+The old TavernCraft spawn sat directly above the sewers that **La Shik' Va** had sealed himself away in. Despite having world item 1, he was gradually losing control to the entities and his fate was sealed when the staff team found the hidden room and removed the sword he had selflessly stabbed himself with. This very act broke the seal keeping the entities from completely consuming **La Shik' Va**, thereby unleashing a terror that roamed free for over a year.
+All along, he was tormented with a body that was not his to control, watching as the world he once ruled turn to dust. The Oasis dungeon that we have fought so ever fiercely turned out to be a once peace-loving population of kind-hearted souls. The staff team is deeply apologetic for the atrocities committed in the name of doing good but prior to recovering his notes, there was simply too little information for us to work with.
+With the truth behind **La Shik' Va** out in the light, we will be erecting a statue to commemorate the once glorious ruler who fought to the end to defend the land he ruled. At the same time, we will be contemplating our next moves to find out what exactly went wrong with our **Simul Ritual**. After all, if the abyss entities were capable of wiping out the grand city of Oasis, there is no telling if the same fate could befall us one day. Perhaps, it has to do with the old prophecy that **La Shik' Va** mentioned in his notes, but we will need to find out more. And so, it seems like we can no longer avoid a full confrontation with the abyss...
